Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran konformitas dan regulasi emosi terhadap perilaku agresi pada mahasiswa teknik di Universitas Sriwijaya. Hipotesis mayor yaitu ada peranan konformitas dan regulasi emosi terhadap perilaku agresi pada mahasiswa teknik di Universitas Sriwijaya. Hipotesis minor yaitu: (1) ada peranan konformitas terhadap perilaku agresi pada mahasiswa teknik di Universitas Sriwijaya, (2) ada peranan regulasi emosi terhadap perilaku agresi pada mahasiswa teknik di Universitas Sriwijaya. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa teknik di Universitas Sriwijaya berjumlah 168 orang. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala psikologis, yaitu perilaku agresi, konformitas, dan regulasi emosi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil analisis regresi ganda menunjukkan bahwa konformitas dan regulasi emosi memiliki peran terhadap terjadinya perilaku agresi, denganp-value = 0,000, R = 0,741, dan adjusted r2 = 0,544. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa ada peran konformitas terhadap perilaku agresi dan ada hubungan positif antara konformitas dengan perilaku agresi, dengan p^value = 0,000, r = 0,637 dan r2= 0,406. Hasil analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa ada peran regulasi emosi terhadap perilaku agresi dan ada hubungan negatif antara regulasi emosi dengan perilaku agresi, dengan p-value = 0,000, r= -0,640 dan r*= 0,409.
