Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern social network of hidden protistution or invisible prostitution in Pasir Padi Beach Resorts Pangkalpinang. The type of research is Mixed Research. Respondents in this study were determined using purposive sampling method which was conducted by interviewing female sex workers and procurer using sociometric as the instrument. The data obtained in this study were analyzed using UCINET 6.0 software with output in the form of sociograms. The results showed that the network pattern of prostitution covered by procurer and female sex workers was influenced by compettition and cooperation. The network pattern of female commercial sex workers and procurer based on their compettition is grouped based on their respective cafes. The network pattern of covert prostitution based on its cooperative is grouped based on cafe. The cooperation that occured was determined based on trust of each actor, that is spread or evenly distributed. The conclusion of this study is that many actors do knoe each other and the level of closeness is very high.
