Abstract

Sediaan semisolida klindamisin HCl cenderung sulit menembus stratum korneum kulit sehingga diperkirakan hanya sekitar 5-8% zat aktif yang dapat sampai ke reseptor. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, diformulasikan klindamisin HCl dalam sistem pembawa transfersom yang terdiri dari struktur lipid bilayer yang dapat menjerap klindamisin HCl dengan baik sehingga akan menaikkan membantu klindamisin HCl menembus stratum korneum kulit. Formula trasnfersom terdiri dari klindamisin HCl, phospholipon dan tween 80. Penggunaan phospholipon mengikuti perbandingan obat : lipid sebesar 1:2 dan 1:4 sedangkan tween 80 dengan variasi kosentrasi 10% dan 20%. Penentuan formula optimum dilihat dari empat parameter yaitu %efisiensi penjerapan, ukuran partikel, indeks polidispersitas, dan zeta potensial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa formula dengan rasio obat : lipid sebesar 1:2 dan tween 80 sebanyak 20% merupakan formula optimum yang dapat membantu klindamisin HCl Berpenetrasi kedalam lapisan stratum korneum dengan masa simpan selama 56 hari
