Abstract

Study aims to determine the character of morphometry type of dragonflies (Ordo Odonata) on the ecohabitat swamps and kelekar river. This study using survey method, by using roaming techniques. the study were founded two types of Dragonflies that is Rhyothemis phyllis and Neurothemis terminata. The average value of the measured morphometric character varies and the the deviation standard ranging 0.01 to 0.15 cm on of each 14 characters. The allometric relationship indicates a variation in the growth pattern. The pattern of total length growth in both types of Dragonflies has a negative allometric growth pattern. The addition of total dragonfly Rhyothemis phyllis and Neurothemis terminata at ecohabitat kelekar river longer than in ecohabitat swamps. The growth pattern of the length of the caput on both types of Dragonflies has a positive allometric growth pattern. The addition of the Caput Rhyothemis phyllis capture length to the ecohabitat of the kelekar river is much slower than that of the swamp ecosystem, whereas the dragonflies of Neurothemis terminata in the ecohabitat of the swamp are much slower than in the kelekar rivers ecohabitat. The location and circumstances of sampling take an important role in shaping the variety of growth patterns. the main factors influencing the presence of dragonflies and variations in growth patterns are influenced by food and habitat resources. This research information is expected to be an alternative contextual example of biology learning in high school class X in Basic Competence 3.2 Analyzing data of observation result about various levels of biodiversity (genes, species, and ecosystem) in Indonesia also the threat and the preservation
