Abstract

Refueling Station is one of the places that contributes to air pollution. Gas station officers are people who play an important role in providing services for fuel needs in the community so that the transportation system runs smoothly. The higher the user of motorized vehicles, the intensity of refueling also increases. This study aims to analyze environmental health risks to the lung function of gas station workers and also look at the relationship between anthropometry, exposure patterns, and extrinsic factors that can affect lung function. The research design used is cross sectional analysis with EHRA and EHE with chi square analysis as a methods. The sample used was 27 people. The sampling technique uses purposive random sampling. The results showed that the value (intake) of non-carcinogenic in the population in realtime for gas NO 2 was 6.32 mg / kg / day, SO 2 was 13.03 mg / kg / day, CO was 4.28 mg / kg / day, TSP was 0.24 mg / kg / day, Dust was 0.27 mg / kg / day. The level of risk in realtime and lifetime is obtained RQ > 1. 23 workers had impaired lung function. It was accepted that there was no relationship between BB (p=0.569), length of exposure (p=1), frequency of exposure (p=1), duration of exposure (p=1), smoking habit (p=0.269), history of the disease (p=1), and history of the allergies (p=0.561), to impaired pulmonary function in gas station officers in the East Ilir II region. So it can be concluded that the concentration of NO2, SO2, CO, TSP and Dust is unsafe and it was found that there is no relationship between body weight, exposure patterns and extrinsic factors to lung function in gas station officers. Gas station managers are advised to add green open space and reduce gas station operating hours, and officers are advised to use PPE such as N95 masks.
