Abstract
This research entitled the development of educative games in the form of mathematics power point for children aged 5-6 years with the aimed to produce learning media that interest children in learning mathematics at kindergarten Muthiah Islamic School Kayuagung. This development uses a combination used Alessi & Trollip (2001) development model and formative evaluation of Tessmer. Three stages of development are planning, design and development. The evaluation stage consists of four stages: self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Technique of collecting data used expert review, interview and observation. From the expert review results obtained the average score of on the eight themes developed that 3.87 with very valid category that has met the criteria of product standards on the material and design game so worthy of trial to the child based on suggestions and comments from experts. Furthermore, one-to-one evaluation stage obtained mean of children observation result on eight theme equal to 86% with good category which suitable with indicator of mathematic development achievement of children aged 5-6 years on observation assessment so that product stated practical and easy to use for child . While in the small group evaluation stage, the average of children observation on eight themes is 92% with good category that is suitable with the indicators of the achievement of mathematics of children aged 5-6 years on observation assessment so that the product is considered practical and easy to use for children.From all the stages that have been done, it can be concluded that the educative game in the form of mathematics PowerPoint is valid and practical for children.
