Abstract

The purpose of this study was to knowing at the influence of sociodrama techniques in group guidance services on the ability of social interaction of low students in the Muhammadiyah 5 Junior High School in Palembang. The method used in this study was Pre-experimental with one group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample was obtained using a purposive sampling technique with 30 students and 8 of them were sampled as group members. The results showed that the process of sociodrama technique in group guidance services at Muhammadiyah Middle School 5 Palembang had been carried out in accordance with the stages in group guidance and group dynamics had occurred to form students' self-awareness to interact.
