Abstract
This study is descriptive research with a quantitative approach that aims to detemime The Ability of students' mathematical communication in learning mathematics with scientific approach. The subjects were students of class XI IPA, 2 senior high school number 7 Palembang, amounting to 31 students. The data were collected using a written test consisting of 4 desccription questions. The results Showed that students' mathematical communication skills after learning mathematics with scientific approach on the equation of the circle is categorized well with the average student score is 6,2. There are 2 indicators of Mathematical Communication ability of the highest occurrence that is the ability to use mathematical formula correctly and get the right result and ability to use mathtem and symbol accurately that is 62, 10%. While the lowest is the indicator of the ability to reflect problems into the language and mathematical symbols of images. graphics, or tables that is 27,42%
