Abstract

This research is a quantitative-descriptive research that aims to know about the description on the items of the national examination of Mathematics Senior High School in 2018. The subject of this research was the students who took the course at BTA 70 Cabang Bukit Besar Kota Palembang that consisted of 21 students. The data were gathered through written test that consisted of 36 multiple choice items. The result of this research shows that (1) Discrimination Power shows that the items which have the discrimination power that is poor and negative is 30%, while the discrimination power that is satisfactory, good, and excellent is 70% (2) Level of Difficulty of the questions included 33% of medium items, and 67% of the combination of easy items, difficult items, and very difficult items (3) Effectivity of Distractor of the items that is poor and negative is 28%, while the effectivity of distractor that is satisfactory,good, and excellent is 72% (4) The items of the 2018 National Examination of Mathematics is in accordance with the test table of specification.
