Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the efficiency and profitability of Small and Medium Enterprises in the City of Palembang. Descriptive qualitative analysis techniques using questionnaire and interview field research. The scope of the data used in this study examines the efficiency and profitability of the Small and Medium Enterprises in the City of Palembang. From the results obtained, the Small and Medium Industry of Clothing has a profit level of Rp. 130,650,000, - with an average of Rp. 10,887,500, - with 50% of entrepreneurs who have above average income or as many as 6 entrepreneurs. With the highest level of profit of Rp. 15,500,000 and the lowest is Rp. 4,400,000. The efficiency of all entrepreneurs can be classified as efficient, with an average efficiency of 1.49 with the highest efficiency level of 1.79 and the lowest of 1.24.
