Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the actor network in the Seed Information System (Si-Benih) program by the Food Crops Agriculture and lHorticulture Office of South Sumatra Province. The background of this research is of course in the Seed Information System (Si-Benih) program there are actor involved in implementing the program, all actor have different roles and authorities, but have the same responsibilities. However, the implementation of the Seed Information System (Si-Benih) program is still not perfect. Therefore a actor network is needed so that the Seed Information System (Si-Benih) program can run more optimally and maximally by referring to Michael Calonn's theory which consists of 4 moments, namely: problematization, interessment, enrollment, and mobilization. The results of this study indicate that in this interaction the successful implementation of actor networks in the Seed Information System Program (Si- Seed) was achieved after the formation of a stable network of actors through 4 stages of translation: Problematization, Interessement, Enrollment, Mobilization carried out by the actors. It's just that there are still a few problems that have not been resolved, thus affecting the implementation of the Seed Information System (Si-Benih) optimally.
