Abstract

Nursing care plans that are made manually make students only focus on making records rather than observing the nursing process given to patients. The large number of records to be made resulted in students making nursing plans in a hurry so that the nursing plans were not in accordance with the standards used and also incomplete. This study aims to produce a prototype application of nursing care as a guide for making nursing care especially for palliative cancer patients with biological problems , spiritual and cultural. The research design uses and development research with reference to the ADDIE development model (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation). The sample of this research was 20 respondents who were taken using non-probability sampling method with purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained using the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) questionnaire with a total of 19 questions given to respondents after operating the application. The design and manufacture of this application is done by blackbox testing and usability testing. The results of the usability testing research obtained a result of 0.90, the usability value is expressed in quantitative size numbers, which means the level of usability and user experience satisfaction as a guide for making nursing care plans for palliative cancer applications is included in the very good level so that it can be accepted by users for used but needs further testing. This application is useful as a guide for nursing students based on nursing guidebooks, namely the SDKI, SLKI and SIKI. Making an electronic based nursing care plan is considered more efficient than making a nursing care plan manually.
