The form of the data which obtained in this study was primary data of tooth erosion level measurement using Basic Erosive Wear Examination (BEWty measurement scale. The visual inspection was done on all teeth except on the third molar. The data were analyzed using Mann Whitney test method on SPSS 21 for Windows. The results showed the significant differences of dental erosion level between children who consumed soft drinks using straw and without using straw (p <0.1). The rate of dental erosion level o n the group that consumed soft drink using straw was 37.55, while those who consumed soft drinks without a straw was 47.20.
