Abstract

Academic information system is an information system that provides information services in the form of academic data. SMA R.A Kartini Palembang becomes a place of research because in this school the data management is not well organized, making it difficult in conducting existing academic activities, for example processing of student data, teacher data, processing student value. The purpose of this research is to design an online academic system so that it can simplify the data processing academic. The method used is literature study method, and the student data processing using the base program that is made of php programming language designed in such a way as the academic web of students, while in the database processing utilizing database from MySql.
