Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer to increase the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.Merril). This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture,Sriwijaya University, North Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir District, South Sumatra. The study started from September to December 2022. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 treatments consisting of 6 replicates, each repetition consisting of 3 plants. Fertilization and administration of dolomite lime can maintain and increase soil fertility. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, flowering age, number of filled pods, number of seeds/plant, weight of seeds/plant, fresh weight of plants, fresh weight of roots, dry weight of plants, and dry weight of roots. Analysis of diversity used the ANOVA test and continued with the 5% BNT test. The results showed that the treatment liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 6 ml/l gave the best results on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, flowering age, filled pods, number of seeds and seed weight.
