Abstract
Lettuce plant (Lactuca sativa L.) cultivation needs to be increased, as consument demand continues to rise with the growth of Indonesian population. The research aimes to identifyed the effects of growth and yield of lettuce plant on goat manure fertilizer treatment in the best dose. This study is conducted in September until October 2022 at experimental garden of Sriwijaya University, Ogan Ilir district of Southern Sumatra. The study used Random Group Design of 4 treatment levels and 3 repetitions with each experimental unit consist of 3 plants. The treatments included: K₀= 2.25 g/ plant NPK fertilizer, K₁= 50 g/ plant goat manure fertilizer, K₂= 150 g/ plant goat manure fertilizer, K₃= 250 g/ plant goat manure fertilizer. The data was analyzed with Analysis of variance and followed by a 5% Tukey Test. Based on the study, it indicated that the goat manure fertilizer treatment with a dose of 250 g/plant significantly effect on total fresh weight and significantly effect on leaf area, canopy area, total dry weight, total leaf fresh weight, stem length, stem fresh weight, and stem dry weight.
