Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran sense of coherence terhadap job insecurity pada karyawan startup. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada peran sense of coherence terhadap job insecurity. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan startup. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 150 karyawan startup dan 50 karyawan startup untuk di uji coba. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Variabel sense of coherence diukur dengan menggunakan skala sense of coherence yang disusun oleh peneliti mengacu pada aspek yang dikemukakan oleh Antonovsky (1993). Untuk mengukur variabel job insecurity digunakan skala job insecyrity yang disusun oleh peneliti mengacu pada komponen yang dikemukakan oleh Ashford, Lee, dan Bobko (1989). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisi regresi linear sederhana antara sense of coherence terhadap job insecurity menunjukkan data nilai R square sebesar 0,328, nilai F sebesar 72,130, dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sense of coherence memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap job insecurity. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima.
