Abstract

The research development has a purpose to produce interactive learning media using Adobe Flash CS6 to Pre-reading for children aged 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina Muara Enim which contains about introduce vowels and consonants, compossing letters into word, connect the sound with its meaning. The development of interactive media it uses a combination of the development model design by Alessi & Trollip and the evaluation formative by Tessmer. Model of Alessi & Trollip consists of three stages. That is planning, design and development stage. At the evaluation stage, the formative evaluation by Tessmer consists of four stages: self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. Data collection techniques using walkthrough and observation. The Interactive Learning Media stated very valid based on expert review with an average score of 3,69 which means the media display is easy to understand, the productivity of media work can increase the motivation of children’s learning and remembered in a long time. Interactive learning media is practice seen from the one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation with an average score of 93% and 94% (very good category) which means the child can be cognitively stimulated because it has audio, visual and interactivity and media are easy to obtain because of the form of interactive CD. Recommendation for next researcher is to researching about the potential impact of interactive learning media to pre-reading for children.
