Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the understanding of the four pillars of nationality and the attitude of nationalism of students at MAN 2 Jambi City. Data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaires. The population of this study was 414 people, namely class XI students at MAN 2 Jambi City. The research sample used a purposive sampling non-probability sampling technique, so the sample in this study was 69 people, namely students of MAN 2 Jambi City class XI IIS 2 and XI IIS 3. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between understanding the four pillars nationalism with the attitude of nationalism of students. This is evidenced by the results of the person product moment correlation test, namely (sig) = 0.686. Based on the Correlation Coefficient Interpretation table, the results of this study are categorized as having a strong relationship
