Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul: “PEMBINAAN TERHADAP WARGA BINAAN NARKOTIKA DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN (LAPAS) MERAH MATA KELAS I PALEMBANG” penulisan skripsi ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2022 Tentang Pemasyarakatan yang menyatakan bahwa pembinaan warga binaan pemasyarakatan dilaksanakan berdasarkan sistem pemasyarakatan. Sistem pemasyarakatan mengubah status lembaga pemasyarakatan menjadi wadah pembinaan terhadap warga binaan pemasyarakatan yang bertujuan untukmengembalikan warga binaan menjadi warga negara yang baik dan juga untuk melindungi masyarakatan dari kemungkinan terjadinya pelanggaran berulang oleh narapidana. Hal ini menyebabkan masalah pembinaan narapidana narkortika menjadi lebih rumit dibandingkan masalah binaan narapidana lainnya. Pembinaan terhadap narapidana penyalahgunaan umumnya lebih di itensifkan pada bidang kesehatan seperti kegiatan perawatan kesehatan umum, kegiatan perawatan ketergantungan narkoba, kegiatan perawatan kesehatan jasmani, dan kegiatan perawatan kesehatan mental dan rohani.
