Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving liquid organic fertilizer of orange peel waste (Citrus sinensis) which is optimal to support the growth and yield of green kenari eggplant (Solanum melongena). This research was conducted from August 2022 to December 2022 at Jalan Talang Buluh (2°55'53.1 "S 104°39'10.3 "E) Palembang City. This study used a Randomized Group Factorial Design (RAKF) consisting of 2 factors, namely the composition of cow manure planting media and the concentration of orange peel waste POC. The first factor is the composition of cow manure planting media (A) which consists of 2 levels, namely A1 = 2:1 (Soil : Cow Manure) and A2 = 3:1 (Soil : Cow Manure). The second factor is the concentration of orange peel waste POC (B) which consists of 4 levels, namely B1 = 10% orange peel waste POC concentration, B2 = 15% orange peel waste POC concentration, B3 = 20% orange peel waste POC concentration and B4 = 25% orange peel waste POC concentration. The total treatment consisted of 8 treatment combinations with 3 replications and each replication consisted of 2 samples, so that there were 48 experimental units. The results showed that the composition of planting media soil and cow manure 2:1 gave the best effect compared to the composition of planting media soil and cow manure 3:1 and the treatment of citrus peel waste POC concentration of 15% gave the best effect compared to other citrus waste POC concentration treatments.
