Abstract

This research aims to determine whether the Islamicity Performance Index Maqashid Index, and Islamic Social Reporting has an effect on profitability using secondary data in annual report from 10 selected sharia banks (BUS) in Indonesia based on a purposive sampling technique with the observation period of 9 years. There were 17 data didn’t the BLUE (Best Linear Unbiased Estimation) so the outliers were eliminated and the remaining 73 data as research samples were processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The research method is multiple linear regression with the results of the t-test (significance) were Profit Sharing Ratio (PSR) has a positive and significant affect on Profitability, Zakat Performance Ratio (ZPR) has a positive and significant affect on Profitability, Equitable Distribution Ratio (EDR) has a positive and significant affect on Profitability, Welfare Ratio (DEWR) has a negative and significant affect on Profitability, Islamic Income (IsIR) has a positive and significant affect on Profitability, Islamic Investment (IIR) has a positive and significant affect on Profitability, Maqashid Index (SMI) has a positive and significant affect on Profitability, and Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) has a positive and significant on Profitability. While the results for the coefficient of determination (adjusted R square) was 77,2% and the remaining 22,2% was explained by other variables outside the model used in this study.
