Abstract

The pandemic and post-pandemic phenomena are the background for the transition of teaching and learning activities from conventional to full online and then learning with a hybrid system. The hybrid learning method is something new for students. This study aims to describe the extent of students readiness in implementing hybrid learning in the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University, odd semester of 2022/2023. Data collection techniques used is questionnaires and interviews. The validity of the instrument was carried out by using Product moment Correlation, and for reliability was carried out by using the Alpha Cronbach formula. The sampling technique used was random sampling technique. The sample in this study were students in the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University, in the odd semester of 2022/2023, a total of 140 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis techniques and data analysis techniques from interviews. The results of the research on the extent of students readiness in implementing hybrid learning in the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP Sriwijaya University, in the odd semester of 2022/2023, there were 98 individuals or 70% of Economics Education students in the good category. There are six indicators used including 1) health condition factors; 2) understanding of the implementation of hybrid learning; 3) lifestyle; 4) implementation of health protocols; 5) students' perceptions of hybrid lectures; and 6) parental support. the indicators are in good category with an average of 77%. Based on this research, it is hoped that there will be a semester learning plan that adapted to the situation and conditions of both lecturers and students as well as all of related parties in the campus environment in utilizing learning with the hybrid method.
