Abstract

This research have titled "Muhammad Cheng 1-JoSriwijaya Foundation 2005-2017". The problem that investigated in the research a1re how the establhisment of Al Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho Mosque Foundation, what the activities of Al Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho Mosque, and also what the organizer and obstacle factor in activity that conducted by Al Islam Muhammad Cheng Ho Mosque. The Research method used history method has several step such heuristic or data gathering, critic or verification, interpretation or data analysis, and historiography or history written. While approach that used is science sociology, anthropology and economic approach. The result of this research show that The foundation of Muhammad Cheng Ho Sriwijaya was established on August 8, 2008. The faoundation is a Al JslamMuhammad Cheng Ho mosque management institution which was first used in Friday prayer service attented by assitand of III Dr H Aidit Azis, present former minister of religion of Republic Indonesia Prof Dr H Said Agil Al Munawar, vice mayor of H Romi Herton SH MH, KH Zen Syukri, head of religious department office of H Mal'an Abdullah and two alhafidz from Bandung and Banten that is H Muchtar Fatawi MPdl and H Ahmad Farizi SQ MSi at 22 August 2008. The foundation of Muhammad Cheng Ho Sriwijayais religious socal having activity program covering Islam education, religious proselytizing, and also people society in.
