Abstract
Education is an important element in forming a generation that will continue the nation and state, bullying behavior is always mushrooming among students in Indonesia, especially at SMP Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi. This study uses a qualitative research model with a case study method. Qualitative research also aims to obtain a complete picture of a matter from the point of view of the human being studied. Data collection techniques are by way of documentation, observation and interviews. With data analysis techniques, data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The results of this study indicate that the efforts of PPKn teachers at SMP Negeri 9 Muaro Jambi in overcoming bullying in schools by utilizing their role, namely the role of the teacher as a facilitator can be seen when students tell complaints about problems that occur to students, the teacher's role as a motivator is like a teacher getting used to students to respect each other and appreciate fellow students, the teacher's role as an evaluator is not only as an assessment team but the teacher takes the first action, namely to provide an example of good behavior to students with the aim that students imitate this behavior, as well as the role of the teacher as an informant by conveying information about bullying to students not only during teaching and learning activities but also during flag ceremony activities every Monday.
