Abstract

Balai Penelitian Teknologi Pertanian Pangan merupakan instltusi pemerintahan yang bergerak di bidang pertanian dengan lebih spesifik ke arah penelitian. Perancangan Balai Penelitian Teknologi Pertanian Pangan terdiri dari massa kantor balai, laboratorium, rumah tanaman, mess pelatihan, dan lahan pertanian. Pembangunan berlokasi di Jalan Mayjen Soeprato, Kee. Kotabaru, Kota Jambi. Konsep utama yang diterapkan pada Balai Penelitian Teknologi Pertanian ini yaitu konsep Eko-Arsitektur dengan penerapan arsitektur modern pada bentukan massa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam perancangan adalah pendekatan arsitektur perilaku yang diterapkan pada perancangan susunan ruang dan susunan massa bangunan dalam tapak.
