Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PPKn sebagai fasilitator dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Situasi sosial penelitian ini adalah SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu (tempat), guru PPKn dan peserta didik X.1 sebagai (Pelaku) dan kegiatan pembelajaran di SMA Negeri 1 Sekayu (aktivitas) yang diteliti. Serta yang menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini 6 orang. Dengan menggunakan analisis mendalam, jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, dan informan yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa guru PPKn untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar pada peserta didik dengan melakukan perannya seperti menyediakan perangkat pembelajaran, menyediakan fasilitas pembelajaran, guru bertindak sebagai mitra, dan guru tidak bertindak sewenang-wenang.
