Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi peserta didik SMA Negeri 2 Palembang terhadap implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar. Ada 3 indikator yang diukur diantaranya pembelajaran berbasis proyek, fokus kepada materi essensial, dan fleksibilitas dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X berjumlah 509 orang. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah Teknik Probability Sampling yaitu simple random sampling dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% maka jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menjadi 218 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dokumentasi dan kuisioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik SMA Negeri 2 Palembang termasuk ke dalam kategori persepsi yang positif karena dalam pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka terdapat pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang membuat peserta didik dapat mengeksplor pengetahuan, tema yang dipilih guru dalam proses pembelajaran membuat peserta didik berfikir secara kritis, serta proses pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka menjadi lebih fleksibel. Hal ini dibuktikan dari tanggapan responden dengan rata-rata 82%.
