Abstract

Research entitled “Empowering the UEP Maju Berjaya in increaring income through a productive economic business program (UEP) in Pandan Sari Village Tungkal Jaya District Musi Banyuasin Regercy. As the Program is how Empowering the UEP Maju Berjaya in increaring income through a productive economic business program (UEP) in Pandan Sari Village Tungkal Jaya District Musi Banyuasin Regercy. By using the concept of community empowerment according to setiani. This research method is descriptive qualitative with an ethomethodelogical research strategy. Data collection is done by conducting interview, observation, semi participation and documentation. The result of this study indicate that group members experienced socio-economic conditions before empowerment was very apprehensive so it needed to be considered, on og which was unstable member income lack of budget and infrastructure, lags of skills and educations of group members who were still low. As for this research, how did they get the empowerment program after they did the empowerment as the sustainability level. Keyword: Empowerment, income, and UEP
