Abstract

Recently,there’s widespread incidence of child exploitation. It showed by higher incidence number in overseas and also domestic. The children especially minors are particularly vulnerable exploited by adults to work. Due to insufficient age, maturity level and ability to think in the work, thus causing children frequently have disorders of thinking and behaving. This research aims to evaluated the implementation of Hasan-Husein Orphanage Services, whether it has been in accordance with Law No. 23 of 2002 on the protection of children in January - September 2011 This research was conducted with qualitative research methods in November - December 2011 at Hasan - Husein Orphanage Palembang. The results obtained from this research that the managers of Hasan-Hussein Orphanage Palembang has carried out the contents of Law Number 23 of 2002 on the protection of children. In case of religion by allowing their children to chose and do their religion activity freely. In the field of education by facilitating basic education and has co-developed the child's ability on the field of religion and computers. In the health sector, by referring the children to primary health care. And they also did well on social sectors by alloweing their children to rest, play, recreation, getting information and hang out freely. So it can be concluded that Hasan — Husein Orphanage hasve implemented the content of Law number 23 of 2002 on the protection of children well
