Abstract

RAVACANA FILMS IS A PRODUCTION HOUSE THAT CONSISTENTLY PACKAGES WORK IN ALL FIELDS OF AUDIO VISUAL INCULIDING SHORT FILMS, VIDEO CLIPS, ADVERTISING VIDEOS AN SO ON, USING JAVANESE CULTURE AND LANGUAGE. THIS STUDY AIMS TO FIND OUT HOW PRODUCTION HOUSE ON THE FILM "TILIK". THIS RESEARCH USES THE THEORY OF PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT PROPOSED BY TINO SAROENGALLO IN HIS BOOK ENTITLED "FAIRY TALES OF A FILM PRODUCTION" TO ANALYZE PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT ITSELF IN THE FILM "TILIK". THIS STUDY USED QUALITATIVE DESCRIPTIVE METHOD. DATA IN THIS STUDY WERE OBTAINED THROUGH IN-DEPTH INTERVIEWS WITH TWO KEY INFORMANTS AND ONE ADDITIONAL INFORMANT, AS WELL AS DOCUMENTATION. THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY SHOW EVERY INDICATOR THAT HAS BEEN MET AND CARRIED OUT, STARTING FROM DEVELOPMENT, PRE-PRODUCTION, PRODUCTION TO POST-PRODUCTION. RAVACANA FILMS NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION TO SEVERAL INDICATORS SUCH AS, ON THE OPEN CASTING INDICATOR WHICH IS NOT CARRIED OUT IN GENERAL, BUT ONLY THE APPOINTMENT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN RECOMMENDED BY SEVERAL CREWS. THEN, RECCE WAS ONLY HELD FOR 1 DAY, THIS MAKING THE CREW DEPARTMENT RUSH IN THE PROCESS. FINALLY, THE PRODUCTION EVALUATION IS NOT CARRIED OUT THOROUGHLY, BUT ONLY CARRIED OUT BY A FEW CORE CREWS.
