Abstract

In this paper discussed about the development of the web-based system for excel region athletes’ management as part of efforts to monitor excel region athletes to become input for the talent scouting and development process of sport nationally. This research of system development is done by using Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which includes the stages of planning requirements, user design, construction and implementation as a form of implementation of sports information systems in region. The product achieved is in the form of a data management system’s prototype for excel region athletes which includes functions of profile data and student achievement management, status and data validation achievement from college, data validation and collection on sports athletes’ student achievement as well as the student achievement’s management reports based on student, university, department, sports, kind of accomplishment and achievement levels.
