Abstract

HIV / AIDS is one of the most dangerous diseases because it can damage the immune system in humans. In 2021, there were 42,652 HIV/AIDS cases in Indonesia, based on the number of HIV/AIDS cases in women, the number of HIV/ AIDS cases in men, the number of deaths due to AIDS The cumulative number of cases , the number of AIDS cases in the use of drugs Number of new cases of HIV 2021, Number of estimates with the risk of being infected with HIV. Existence counseling about the HIV / AIDS virus can increase public knowledge about the dangers of the HIV / AIDS virus, but in fact there are limited health counseling workers , therefore it is necessary provincial priority selection is carried out in counseling knowledge of the HIV / AIDS virus which can be done by grouping provinces based on the number of cases of HIV / AIDS spread in 2021. Provincial groupings can use cluster analysis of the K-Means method. The K-Means method is a cluster method whose number of clusters is determined first. This study grouped provinces using the number of clusters 3, 4, 5, and 6 clusters and selected the best number of clusters in terms of the value of Silhoutte Coefficient, the best cluster is a cluster that produces a Silhoutte Coefficient value close to 1. The grouping of 3 clusters resulted in clusters of 3,7,and 24 provinces, respectively. The grouping of 4 clusters produces clusters of 3, 3, 9, and 19 provinces, respectively. The grouping of 5 clusters produces clusters of 2, 1, 3, 9, and 19 provinces, respectively. The grouping of 6 clusters produces clusters of 2, 2, 5, 1, 8, and 16 provinces, respectively. The best Cluster is 3 clusters which is the optimal number of clusters with a Silhoutte Coefficient value of 0.6706184, and in grouping 3 clusters for members of cluster 1 consisting of 3 provinces including West Java Province , Central Java and East Java which are among the provinces that have high HIV / AIDS cases, cluster 2 consists of 7 provinces including the provinces of North Sumatra, Riau, South Sumatra, DKI Jakarta, Banten, South Sulawesi which are among the provinces that have moderate HIV / AIDS cases and clusters 3 is a member of 24 provinces that include provinces that have low HIV/AIDS cases.
