Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know whether there is any influence of exercise using tennis racket against the result of punch overhead badminton lob. The type of research used is quasi experimental research using pre-test design - post-test randomized control group design. The population in this study were students of SMP Negeri 36 Palembang, which amounted to 282 students, the sampling technique used in this study was random sampling or random technique and the sample used was 60 students or 21.28% of the 282 students. The instrument used is the result of the overhead of the badminton lob with the form of training using the tennis racket and the result of the pre-test is directed from the smallest data to the largest data. After that the sample is divided into 2 groups namely the experimental group and the control group by ordinal pairing. Data analysis techniques use the "t" test. Based on data analysis, the research results obtained t count equal to (6,83), while t table equal to (1.671), then t count (6,83)> t table (1,671). The results of the research influence if t count > t table. Thus the hypothesis is accepted, and it can be concluded that there is an effect of exercise using a tennis racket against the result of baddy badge overhead blow on students of SMP Negeri 36 Palembang.
