Abstract
The purpose of this research is to develop a product in the form of a floor gymnastics learning model based on a scientific approach. The method used in this research is research and development method which means developing a product or creating a new product. The population used was all students of SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara class VIII, amounting to 38 people. Data collection techniques in this study are the pretest and posttest methods by conducting tests before and after the implementation of treatment of the floor gymnastics learning model based on a scientific approach. Data analysis techniques in this study used a different paired sample t-test. Based on the results of the output using SPSS 16 that the average value of 38 samples that do the test, the test results before given the learning model is 65.59% and after being treated with the learning model 82.53% means that the average value achieved students increase. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there are significant differences before and after the treatment of the floor gymnastics learning model based on the scientific approach to junior high school students.
