Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan self-determination dan abstinence self-efficacy pada pecandu narkoba yang sedang menjalani masa rehabilitasi. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan self-determination dengan abstinence self-efficacy pada pecandu narkoba yang sedang menjalani masa rehabilitasi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 150 pecandu narkoba yang sedang menjalani masa rehabilitasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan yakni skala self-determination mengacu pada dimensi dari Ryan dan Deci (2000), dan skala abstinence self-efficacy mengacu pada aspek abstinence self-efficacy menurut DiClemente, Carbonari, Montgomery, dan Hughes (1994). Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan self-determination dan abstinence self-efficacy memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05) dengan r = 0,411. Dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kedua variabel. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima.
