Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah infeksi yang disebabkan oleh virus dengue yang ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes. Penyakit DBD termasuk penyakit dengan tingkat kematian kasus yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya, pada tahun 2021 mencapai 0,96%. Pemberian terapi suportif dan simptomatik yang sesuai dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan terapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan rasionalitas penggunaan obat terhadap outcome klinis hematokrit, trombosit, dan suhu tubuh pasien DBD di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSI Siti Khadijah Palembang periode April 2021 – Maret 2022. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara observasional analitik dengan cross sectional dan bersifat retrospektif. Sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 46 pasien. Hasil rasionalitas penggunaan obat didapat tepat diagnosis 100%, tepat indikasi 100%, tepat pasien 100%, tepat obat 100%, tepat dosis terapi cairan 89,13% dan analgetik antipiretik 91,30%, tepat rute pemberian 100%, tepat lama pemberian 100%, dan waspada efek samping 100%. Analisis rasionalitas penggunaan terapi cairan terhadap hematokrit dan trombosit serta analisis rasionalitas penggunaan analgetik antipiretik terhadap suhu tubuh dengan uji fisher’s exact didapat p-value berturut-turut 0,001; 0,020; dan 0,033 (p<0,05) yang menunjukkan terdapat hubungan bermakna yaitu pemberian obat yang rasional pada pasien DBD tercapai kadar hematokrit, jumlah trombosit, dan suhu tubuh normal.
