Abstract

The purpose of this study were to: (1) Identify the response of the community in Suban Jeriji Village in supporting sustainability PT Musi Hutan Persada’s Mengelola Hutan Rakyat (MHR) program, (2) Analyzing the factors that influence the sustainability of the partnership program of Mengelola Hutan Rakyat (MHR) program of PT Musi Hutan Persada in Suban Jeriji Village. The results of the study are (1) Suban Jeriji village’s comunity responded with moderate criteria for the Mengelola Hutan Rakyat (MHR) program with a total score of 22.47 that each of these indicators, namely farmer perceptions of 7,60 that is moderate criteria, farmer attitudes at 7,42 that is moderate criteria, and farmer participation at 7,72 that is moderate criteria for the sustainability of the Mengelola Hutan Rakyat (MHR) program; (2) The factors that influence the sustainability of the Mengelola Hutan Rakyat (MHR) program in Suban Jeriji Village based on significant results from logistic regression analysis are the education level and land area. The average income of rubber farming in Suban Jeriji Village is Rp.88.636.914 per year, the average income of acacia farming is Rp.6.182.408 per year, the average non-farm income is Rp.22.132.800 per year, and farmers' household needs is Rp.51.180.420 per year such us food needs is Rp.10.436.600 per year and non food needs is Rp.51.180.420 per year. The farmer’s NTP value is 2,2 which means that farmers in Suban Jeriji Village can fulfill their household needs.
