Abstract
Detection of a disease requires experts in their fields, so there is no error. To find out about this, the Backpropagation Neural Network can be used to detect a disease. The object detected is the X-ray results from the lungs, to determine whether the lungs are cancerous or normal. Therefore, detection of lung cancer using the Backpropagation Neural Network with Zernike Moment Invariants feature extraction method was developed into the software in this study. The results of detection of lung cancer using the Backpropagation Neural Network method with the Zernike Moment Invariants feature extraction method resulted in an average accuracy of 94.96%.
