Abstract
This study is a descriptive research which aims to describe students’ creative thinking skill in mathematics learning using Treffinger model. Subject of this study are 28 students of Class VIII.1 of Junior High School number 33 Palembang. The data are collected by written test and are used to know categories of students’ creative thinking skill. There are five categories of students’ creative thinking skill: very good, good, average, less, and poor. The result of this study shows that from 28 students, 11% are very good, 57% are good, 32% are average, and no one get less or poor. From 19 students with very good and good categories, it shows that 10% in level 4, 58% in level 3, 16% in level 2, 16% in level 1, dan 0% in level 0. The conclucion is that class VIII.1 of Junior High School number 33 Palembang are creative.
