Abstract

SMA Muhammadiyah 6 is a High School under the auspices of the Foundation of Muhammadiyah which has been founded in 1988 and is one of the examples of institutions which use the system in the process of processing the data. In its activities, High School Muhammadiyah 6 is inseparable from the process of managing the academic students and making the final value in the form of the results of the report. Process – the process has its own complexity associated with facilities available. It also raises other issues such as the process of filing the report is not on time, as well as search the data takes a long time. It also complicates the Teaching Staff in delivering the report to the principal. Academic information system (SIA) is the answer to the breakthrough technology of information in the field of education, where the current academic information system aims to resolve the problems faced by schools in managing value and academic students. Academic information system is also functioning to provide information in the academic value of uptodate via computer media.
