Abstract

Caisim (Brassica chinensis) is an agricultural commodity in Indonesia that can be utilized as food. This study aims to determine the combination of the addition of rice husk charcoal - compost and inorganic fertilizer on P-available, pH and growth of caisim (Brassica Chinensis). This study uses the Factorial (RAL) method with 2 treatment factors, factor 1 organic soil conditioner with 4 levels of treatment and factor 2 with 3 levels of treatment and 3 replications so that there are 36 experimental units. treatments on soil conditioner factors are P0: Control (no treatment); P1: Rice husk charcoal 15 tons ha-1; P2: Rice husk charcoal 15 tons ha-1 + Compost 10 tons ha-1; P3: Rice husk charcoal 15 tons ha-1 + Compost 30 tons ha-1. and the second factor is A0: Control (No Treatment); A1 50% recommended inorganic fertilizer; A2: 100% recommended inorganic fertilizer. The research data were then statistically tested using ANOVA RAL Factorial at the 5% level and further tested using the 5% BNJ test. The results showed that the provision of P3: Husk Charcoal Biochar 15 tons ha-1 + Compost 30 tons ha-1 and 50% inorganic fertilizer can increase P-availability, soil pH, plant height, and number of plant leaves, and can also reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. Keywords: Caisim, Compost, NPK Inorganic Fertilizer, Rice Husk Biochar.
