Abstract

To increase the cropping index of one to two times can be done by setting the cropping pattern or type of plant is suitable, the water system and the macro and micro farm system. Therefore, studies are needed to be able to produce technology swamp land development should be based on the conditions and characteristics of the land. The purpose of this study was to obtain the characteristic swamp land in the form of existing conditions and biogeofisik in swamp land in the Pemulutan Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir. The method used field survey and inventory of existing data and biophysical (data type of soil, soil characteristics, soil conductivity, topography, land cover). The results obtained in the form of soil types plains, alluvial plains, swamps, hills, soil types dominated by A.latosol Brown and litosol, the largest type of land cover is vegetation. Furthermore, the analysis of the soil permeability at the Pemulutan was very low at 0.09 cm / hour, soil hydraulic conductivity of 0.000333 cm / sec and value of organic C including the criteria for very low to low.
