Abstract

Analysis Advantages and Added Value Prawn Processing and Marketing in Sungsang I Village ,Banyuasin II districts, Banyuasin Regency South Sumatera Province, this study aimed to analyze the strategy industrial household that prawn crackers in Sungsang I, Banyuasin II districts, while the specific objectives of this study were Calculating the rate of profit (R / C ratio) obtained from prawn cracker industrial household. Calculating the value-added raw materials in industrial household prawn crackers, base price and the break-even point (BEP) on the domestic industry in Sungsang I, Banyuasin II districts, Banyuasin Regency. the R / C of effort Prawn crackers is at 1.33 which means business feasible, when seen from the R / C ratio, the effort it can to run. From the calculation of break-even analysis, it was found that the BEP per unit effort Prawn crackers is Rp. 21 555, - per kilogram that is, efforts craftsmen prawn crackers capital will be turning (break�even) if prawn crackers is sold at Rp. 21 555, - per kilogram and the sale of prawn crackers should be at least more than 31 kilograms, 31 kilograms because of the amount of sales effort prawn cracker turnover/break even. The added value obtained from processing prawn crackers are in Rp. 6,868, per kilogram. Prawn crackers marketing through 3 channels
