Abstract
Tin minerals contain valuable accessory minerals if processing is carried out. According to Ministerial Regulation Number 25 of 2018 the accessory minerals must be processed and refined in Indonesia.. The purpose of this research is to analyze the potential, product can be resulted form accessory minerals processing and feasibility of investment in increasing the added value of accessory minerals of tin. Investment analysis accessory minerals of cassiterite performed using economic evaluation method are NPV to show feasibility if have positif value, IRR with use interest rate is 10% and feasibility if have IRR up to 10% , payback period to show feasibility if payback periode less from project life, and PI to show feasibility if have value up to 1. Accessory minerals of tin that will process for added value are monazite, zircon, and ilmenite. The product of the processing of accessory minerals in this research is monazite into lanthanum oxide and cerium oxide, zircon become micronized zircon, and ilmenite become titanium dioxide. This research shows that the accessory minerals are worth investing with a monazite NPV value of Rp14.456.271.847; NPV of zircon mineral Rp5.412.809.669; and NPV of ilmenite minerals of Rp74.697.631.175. IRR of monazite mineral of 31,60%; IRR of zircon 37,49%; and IRR of ilmenite 34,59%. Payback period for monazite is 2,67 years, zircon for 1,28 years and ilmenite 2,59 years. The accessory minerals processing profitability index has a value above 1 with PI values of monazite 1,70; zircon 1,84 and ilmenite 1,84
