Abstract

Mining activities in PT Bukit Asam Tbk is designed based on monthly mining sequence. Sequence in August 2018 shows that mining activities was done from top to bottom layer and followed the strike of coal seam.Mining progress is the same as mining sequence, but the productionwas not reach the target. Thus, it is necessary to analyze why it happened. This research was conducted to analyze the discrepancies between sequence and the realization, factors, effect, and some efforts to minimize the discrepancies in next month. The data which is used in this research are sequence, mine progress, and geolical data. Processing data was done by using softwareMineScape. In August 2018, the production of Pit 1 Utara based on sequence is 380.890,66 tons (101,84% of 374.000 tons) for coal and 702.826,97 BCM (89,42% of 786.000 BCM) for overburden. Those discrepancies are caused by fleet operation, UA, EWH which was lower than plan, low productivity, and less control.Those disperancies will decrease stripping ratio and make difficult for coal expose in next month. The efforts to minimize those discrepancies are loading equipment reschedule and increase the monitoring and control.
