Abstract

PT. Pertamina EP Asset 2 Pendopo Field is a national company engaged in oil and gas production located in Pali Regency, Pendopo, South Sumatra. The production process is done with several lifting method, such as natural flow, gas lift, electric submersible pump and sucker rod pump. But over time the production process decreases, caused by various things one of them lack of pressure from within the production well. So now the process of increasing the reservoir well production pressure by injecting the production water into the reservoir by using injection wells. The water that goes into production with the nat oil is processed and reinjected into the reservoir. Produced water is processed in accordance with the characteristics of water contained in the reservoir which later if different will damage the reservoir. At the beginning of the check obtained fluid production of 48 bfpd which decreased production. Conducted steps using the metods of water treatment injection plant to improve the yield of such production. After the maximum production calculation that can be produced by the well is obtained increased to 54,45 bfpd. The injection process uses an injection pump and is injected through the injection well. This method is more often used because it is more practical and efficient.
