Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Influence of Learning Models of Debate on Critical Thinking Capabilities of Students of SMA Negeri 2 OKU on Economics Subject. The problem of this study is formulated in the following recearch question was there any influence of learning model of debate on the critical thingking ability students of SMA N 2 OKU on economic lesson. This research is experimental research, which use pre-experimental design.population in this research is all class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 2 OKU. The population of this study wass all of students of XI IPS in SMA N 2 OKU. The sample of this study was 40 students that were chosen by cluster random sampling. The data of this study were collected by giving test and observations. The data were analyzed from pre test equal 69,17% to, while post test equal 85,8% and the result of the observations mean equal to 75,30%. The hypothesis using t test and obtained was 10,967>1,990. It can be concluded that there is asignificance influence of learning model of debate on critical thingking capability students of SMA N 2 OKU on economic lesson.
