Abstract

This study is aimed to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, firm size and solvability to dividend policy. The research population was consumer goods industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exhange (IDX) in period of 2012-2016. The samples are collected by purposive sampling method. The total are 13 companies as samples. The method of this research is Multiple Linier Regression. The results of this research showed that firm size has significanly effected to dividend policy. As for profitability, liquidity and solvability has not significanly effected to dividend policy. The result of determination coeffiecient was showed that about 11,7% indicating the ability of the independent variables in explaining the dependent variable while 88,3% was explained by the other variables.
