Abstract
This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding of the community about preventing stunting in children, especially for mothers or women of childbearing age. The form of activity is empowerment carried out by direct counseling methods in the form of lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and problem solving on stunting cases in the community. The stages of the activity are giving pre-test, followed by presentation of material about stunting and ending with evaluation of activities and post-test. The participants of the activity were 29 women, housewives and women of childbearing age who have children. The results of this activity showed that the percentage of participants' understanding increased before and after the activity, with the average percentage for the three material aspects, namely 77.01%, increasing to 93.10%. Through participants' understanding of the importance of stunting prevention efforts, knowledge, attitudes and abilities in carrying out various prevention efforts are expected to make the public more aware of health from the age of pregnancy and the health of children.
